I have owned this game for some time, and have played it all the way through several times. The game is always entertaining. It's the combination of graphical speed and sound effects. The sound effexts in this game are some of the best I have ever heard. I love it when the enemies go transdimensional. The effects, both graphically and aurally are stupendous. Blew me away first time I played, still does.

...Based on the original Space Invader but improved a thousand times over. The controls are perfect, your ship responds to every twitch and you'll find yourself smoothly sliding yourself through rows of bullets that look like certain death. The powerup system being tied in to your health gives you a chance to carry on even if you're playing badly (as long as you don't run out of power for them) but also the incentive to power up your weapons to give max blast power.

The graphics are really well suited for the game. Bullets can be seen pretty clearly so you're rarely wondering what hit you. All in all, for people that like to know they're playing a game and not just hitting buttons and hoping to do what you should, this game is one of the best EVER.
