Funkiball's gameplay is sweet. Pressing the mouse button will pull back on the paddle, letting you whack the ball, something I've yet to see in any other breakout-type game. It also features some scrollable levels, in which new bricks scroll down from the top of the screen. Super Breakout had a feature like this, which they called progressive mode. Nice to see that concept being brought back.

I have just finished Funkiball Adventure and I have to say that this is one of the best breakout games I have ever played! Once you get the hang of the smash and super-smash features, you will wish you had it in all breakout games. And the story lured me in, too! It is both creative and funny with a great twist near the end! Now I have to go back and get all 5 stars on the levels that I missed..work will just have to wait!
