Marooned is one of the more interesting HOG's I've played and it maintained by interest through the sixty minute trial. The story is an interesting mystery set on a deserted island wherein one woman wants to find out the reason why she's there as she has amnesia. I found I really wanted to know why she ended up there and it kept me guessing and kept me interested. It's a HOG with a lot of puzzle elements included and this will keep you thinking. It's challenging without being too frustrating. The graphics are gorgeous and it's a well put together game. I'd advise anyone who likes HOG's or puzzle games to download the trial or buy the game as it's well worth it.

Very entertaining game to play. Good voice acting; good locations to search. Logical plot for a change. I made sure to find the Hint spears right off as I did need to use quite a few hints. Also needed a magnifying glass a time or two to find sadistically hidden frogs and spiders, etc., which is points off in my book. One other minor quibble is that you pretty much search the same scenes over and over again looking for different stuff. "What to do next" usually made sense, and can't get lost in multiple corridors like "walk around the mansion" type games. Appreciated the variety of searches required: by list, by category and by logic. Good innovation. Game PLENTY long for me; in fact, I kept wondering when it would be over! Good entry into HOGdom. Recommended.

Love the game, love the female lead's accent. I like trying to figure out what plus what equals something. Graphics are good, like the spear hints, and I love the moving from scene to scene with inventory items. Looking forward to the sequel!
