Mystery of Shark Island Game Customer Reviews
This is an original and fun version of hidden object. I found it much more interesting than regular hidden object games. I liked the twists of having to dust sand off some items, etc. Some of the shells are really tiny & hard to find, though.

I enjoyed this game. It is fun watching the tide bring in the objects for you to find. As it goes along, the game gets more and more challenging. If you like hidden object games, you will like this one.

If you like Seek and Find puzzles with a twist, this one's for you. The bonuses come up frequently enough that you aren't grinding repetitive tasks. The intermittent puzzles vary and are quite interesting. The art is consistent and not too easy to find, especially since the sand covers the ones you want. And, the sound actually sounds like waves. A very peaceful interlude... just watch out, because it's timed!

This is my very favorite HOG, and one I keep playing over and over when I just want to vege out and not do anything that needs any real thought. Sometimes I'll turn off the music and just have the sound effects on so I can hear the ocean sounds. I don't agree that the small size of the shells in the later parts of the game is a con. The farther you go in the game, the more difficult it becomes. Silhouettes of shells to find instead of pictures; question marks, so you have to find intact shells; and, yes, smaller size to make it harder to find them. I think I'll use this review to air one of my pet peeves - people who complain about the small size of hidden objects. Folks, it's *supposed* to be hard to find them! Impossible puzzles with no directions, no direction in certain rooms, small hidden objects - it's all part of the game. Anyway, I love this game and I'm going to install it on my 10" netbook, just to see if I can see the smaller shells on later islands - hey, I'm a masochist! :-)
