I absolutely loved this game, the graphics were fab and the story was pleasant enough. However, I did find the accents absolutely hilarious, the count didn't seem to know if he was Romanian, Scottish or Irish.Some of the objects were a little difficult to see but were a challenge so I didn't mind that too much. the minigames are a little difficult,I think I skipped more than I actually managed to do. I have to admit I much rather prefer this style of HOG's, they seem to have a bit more to them and I can play them over and over. So if you're a fan of Penny Dreadfuls, Diregrove, Dark Tales Edgar Allen Poe Murders in the Rue Morgue, and Return to Ravenhurst you're most definitely going to like this game.

I rarely give 5 stars to any game, but this game really deserved it. The style reminds me of the one of the best MCF: Madame Fate. Beautiful graphics, appropriate music (but not annoying), voiceovers were at least professionally done (and funny). The story moves the game along. Some of the puzzles were incredibly hard, but they were all fair (and can be skipped if you get too frustrated). A few minor quibbles with item descriptions not being accurate for the object-to-be-found, but the generous hint system makes up for that. The MAP is a great help, but I wish it could have been used to travel to known scenes without backtracking. If you like using both sides of your brain, this game will give you hours of entertainment.

I love this game,it is just enough challange to make it fun i sat down with my grandkids helping me and played this from beginning to end in one day really great graphics and puzzles... great puzzles and the storyline keeps your interest...in my opion its worth buying,,,
