I'm not too big on card games but this one is a far cry from the usual card games I've played. Play against 3 computer controlled players to collect "sets" of cards. It's fun, addictive and challenging. There are card strategy and bonus card plays involved. I highly recommend this game for those who are usually bored with card games!

I like playing this game whenever I have a short break at work. The game launches quickly and has a Game Speed setting that affects how fast the cards move. After the first few games I cranked the speed to the highest value, which increased its addictive nature. Most of the card games can be played in less than 5 minutes at the highest speed.

It's really not necessary to closely watch which cards the other players pick since you can infer quite a bit from their score cards. Mostly, I keep an eye on the discard pile and see which neighbor picks a visible card that I need. Now that I've played all 10 card games and won the Expert badge, I'm trying to win the next badge by collecting all the awards in each game!

Picket Fences is great as it doesn't require a large block of time. You can still advance through a series a short spurts.

I've had a great time playing this game. It's a really fun card game. You play against 3 other people in easy or standard mode. I win easy in around 3 hrs. Haven't won standard yet, but still trying!! I will play this one again and again!
