Port Royale 2 Game Description
The Caribbean in the 17th Century; You will trade with over 60 towns and create your own production facilities. You will not only increase your trading empire, but you will also have a larger influence on the development of the New World. Trade is not everything though, as pirates and military fleets threaten your trade convoys. Escort ships for your convoys are needed, or you can turn the tides and hunt for pirates or capture the military ships, becoming more famous and expanding your own fleet as well as your stock of goods. If that is not enough, you can also take on missions for merchants, diplomats and other characters. With the even more desirable missions of the Vice Kings, where you are to attack and conquer enemy towns, you will be able to influence the defenses of your home towns directly. As a sign of gratitude you will be awarded land, to be used later to build and oversee your own towns.
Port Royale 2 full version features include:
- Construct production facilities, houses and special function buildings to help your towns flourish
- Create your own towns
- Stronger consequences in wars (towns can be conquered)
- Introductory scenarios to describe all important features of the game
Port Royale 2 Game Customer Reviews
I can simply say that the one of the best game I have ever played in 15 years. Many thanx to Ascaron... If you're thinking to buy this game, definetely buy it. When you buy the game, in order to understand it, first play the tutorials. After that off to free play or other scenarios. I have also played Sid Meier's Pirates but it feels like playing a cartoon game. In PR2 you can be a pirate, trader or whatever you wanna be. Do the tasks which your viceroy gives and after some tasks your viceroy grants your own land so that you can start your very own settlement. Luvly...

I bought this game looking for something cheap and entertaining, I found it.I have been addicted to it for 6 weeks now, I have started making my own flags(oh yeah, you can create your own flag to be used in the game), I have gone down several paths, one is pure trading, another is the path of a pirate, and the last two, one I fight for any nation willing to pay me what I want, and the other I fight for one nation for dominance. Back to the review, If you are looking for a game like AOE, AOM, etc. don't get this game, it is not set around war and building your civilization, if you are looking for a game that wont get old in 4 hours, or even 40, and that keeps you choosing different paths every time to turn on your computer, this is your game. It is set around trade, and reputation, you can improve or destroy your relations with any nation depending on any tiny action you choose ~~~side note~~ you can annex every town except one belonging to a nation, and buy their trust back, so their military doesn't attack you any more~~~ So I would like you to try this game, it is only 10 bucks, and is great quality for that price

Overall, Port Royale 2 is a game you should definitely consider. Play the tutorial and get the gist of the game. Understand that you might not fully grasp the game after only the one hour trial, and look at the game objectively. This game has so much to offer and so much potential. Whether you are a fan of piracy or just simulation games, this will keep you entertained and is worth more than the measly five dollars the full version costs.
