I really enjoyed the main mah jongg part of the game, but the required minigame where you have to find the objects in the paintings was almost impossible! Very frustrating. (And I usually like Hidden Object games). I had to use the tips and tricks and Gamezebo more than once, but got no satisfaction out of it. Our family does replay this from time to time, but we made printouts of the bonus paintings with the items marked so we can skip through those quickly.

The game has a really fast game play and it was fun playing it. If you like Mahjong like games, Venice Mystery is an interesting new game.
