Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Collector's Edition Game Customer Reviews

I'm with all of you folks on this one - played 10-15 minutes and hit the buy it! However, for those of you who really don't like a lot of HO scenes, this may not be the game for you. I have to say though, that the HO scenes were all do-able and did not cause eye strain, but there were a lot of them! I played in advanced/expert mode and thought the hint meter filled up quickly. Loved the mini-games, and really enjoyed the play on the deduction board, very thoughtful, and helpful! I used the SG a couple times, but felt the Hint button worked just fine. There is a Map, but not a jump to feature, it just sort of unfolds the depth of the places you will go, and places you will see. I was a little disappointed with the Bonus Game, felt a bit short, but overall played over a couple days and am totally satisfied with this CE. Of course, good to try before you buy, especially if you are not a big HO fan.

Based on the trial this has to be one of the best games I have ever played! I was hooked immediately.

Everything runs so smooth, the graphics are great and the voice overs are well done and just enough to let you know whats going on but they don't run on forever. The hidden object scenes are just the right level of difficulty. The mini games are incredibly unique. They really make you think and can be skipped if your thinkers not working to capacity.

I absolutely loved the way they did the evidence board. Anything new like that is fun. There were also a couple spots that made me jump in my seat. Not many games can do that. Even the Strategy Guide is easy to use and from that it looks like the length will be pretty good also.

Everyone left fantastic reviews so I will end with this. 5 stars out of 5 all the way. Can't wait to play. I have to leave for work but I will be back in Maple Creek tonite.

This game was awesome from the opening scene. Great character voices for the most part. The story is fantastic. I agree, it plays like an interactive mystery novel. The story leads you logically through each step. You will do some running back and forth but it actually is logical - you will find the items you need in a place that makes sense instead of finding a ladder in a kitchen. The same with the puzzles - they make sense and are different the the ones that seem to be the norm nowadays. The hidden object scenes are a jumble and some items are obscure but not too aggravating. Hints load quickly and are very helpful. The strategy guide is built in and is also helpful. The new evidence board feature is actually worked into the game and makes you feel like you are really working to solve the mystery. The length of the game is also great.

Overall, very good game. I am definitely looking forward for more games from these guys!

This is a great game. Its an very beautitful ihog game, not very easy. The puzzles are very good, also the graphic. You can see the strategy guide in your trial time, thats also a big plus. The game has 7 chapters plus 1 bonus chapter in the CE. For me its a definete buy as the CE
