Vacation Quest: Australia Game Customer Reviews
I'M REALLY NOT A FAN OF HO GAMES, (WELL I MIGHT AS WELL BE) BUT THIS ONE IS COOL! I REALLY THINK IT'S A GOOD GAME FOR CHILDREN AS THAT IT WOULD TRAIN THEM TO BE OBSERVANT. (NOW THAT THAT'S OVER) I LOVE THIS GAME!

This game harkens back to the beginning of HOGs. There's no in-depth storyline to follow. No keys, door knobs, ropes, etc....to find. Just a good old fashioned HOG.
I really enjoyed this game, because sometimes I just want to relax and have fun looking for stuff, and this one fits the bill.
The graphics, music, effect, were well done and didn't distract from the playing experience. I liked the boomerangs, and that you could get extra levels. The way they transitioned from level to level was nice and smooth. Just good flow through out the game. Very enjoyable indeed. :D
I'd definitely recommend this game!!!

I appreciate straight HOGS like this one, especially on those days I don't feel much like dealing with dark and creepy games! The graphics are clear and sharp, bright and beautiful. I really liked the round jigsaw - added a new dimension to completing the puzzle. Lots of levels to work through, and you can extend the levels by finding enough boomerangs as you move along. Good game to add to my list!

Altho I've been burned out by all the HOG games I have played in the past I decided to try this as it had a high rating. It's a std type HOG. Great graphics, very defined and clear which sometimes can be an issue in HO games. The objects were a bit tough but not impossible to find. They give you options like unlimited hints, and also relaxed mode of playing. This was great. The only thing I thought could be improved was sometimes they didn't clarify what the object was. Calling a pine cone, a cone is quite frankly, using trickery. I wasted so much time trying to find the road type cones. This is just one example among quite a few, and I can't help but think this was intentional. That's unfortunate they have to mislead the player to make the game better. It doesn't, trust me. On the positive side, there are a variety interesting locations to enjoy, as well as some mini games to break up the HO monotony. I really thought this was a well made game but could have been better.
