I really enjoyed playing this game. The addition of growing your own grapes was wonderful and something I thought Chocolatier was missing out on! I also like how they did the wine making mini games. I did not buy it, but I am dissapointed to read in the reiew that it is a short game. This is a growing trend in casual gaming, making games too short! For that reason alone I am thinking of passing this one by. Overall a great game, even though it is Chocolatier with wine!

Running Factories! Yaaaay! Comparison to the Chocolatier series is inevitable: they are longer, but Winemaker is very satisfying and doesn't leave me with the chocolate cravings. Although, I am feeling thirsty... This one is great fun and as others have said, it increases your knowledge of wines. For some that is a plus, for some it's probably a 'whatever'. Those who have not played a business simulation before might need to bring their questions to the Forum here at first, but that's just more of a getting-started learning process. Good music, good graphics, and I like the chance to improve productivity, just as in the Chocolatier series. I hope they will explore making a longer and possibly a 'new twist' business simulation. The makers clearly know how to make a good business sim, I hope they take a shot at carrying the genre to the next level!
