Timeless: The Forgotten Town Collector's Edition Game Customer Reviews

Oh, what a lovely game. After yesterdays sparkle ridden game this one is a joy. I played in advance mode and I do not remember encountering any sparkles. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and the music is rather soothing. The two mini games I encountered were the pick the lock and gear type puzzle, both of which I found fun to do. I kind of like the silhouette and regular word list H0 scenes. All and all a game I most certainly will buy. Enjoy!

I love this game. The story has me hooked. I played for 45 minutes to finish the first chapter and I exited so I could buy. You have to look over the entire scene to make sure you don't miss anything. I like the guide. The puzzles are OK. The gears had me crazy for a bit.

Solid adventure HOG with understandable plot about restarting time in a strange town that has been halted in the past by a fiendish device. I played the CE for a change and am glad I did in this instance as the regular game ends very abruptly and the story doesn't come full circle until the end of the bonus chapter. I didn't lose my bearings for a change in navigating the various scenes even though there is plenty to explore. Locations very well laid out and map not needed. This game does not suffer from the "tramping across numerous locations to get one single item" syndrome - you get to use your inventory in reasonable ways and soon after found. I only used the strategy guide once because the hint system gives you just the right amount of nudge without peeking at the whole solution written out on a page. I did skip lots of the puzzles as mostly they were just time-consumers of revolving dials, etc. - not because they were particularly hard. Very good looking hunt scenes with interesting selection of objects. No in-scene interactions; hints fill quickly, but rarely needed. I particularly enjoyed some of the music loops behind the search scenes. Above average.
